Innovation in agriculture never stops, and we at Novello & C. are thrilled to announce our participation in the first unmissable stage of the Grape Exhibition 2026, which kicks off this year right from our beloved Sicily.
Now in its fifth year, this successful touring format returns to the field, choosing Sicilian soil for its seasonal debut. The event, entirely dedicated to the ARRA Edition, will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at the Terre Assolate Farm, in contrada Fontanazze (Chiaramonte Gulfi, province of Ragusa).
A technical discussion right in the production areas
The true strength of the Grape Exhibition is stepping out of traditional conference rooms to bring the technical debate directly into the vineyard, where agronomic choices turn into concrete practices.
During the afternoon, agronomists, university researchers, and industry experts will take turns addressing today's most strategic themes for table grape viticulture, including:
Variety innovation and technical management of new seedless grapes (with a specific focus on ARRA varieties curated by AVI experts).
Rational water management, an increasingly central challenge for our territories.
The physiology of advancing bud break.
Soil microbiological fertility.
Novello & C.'s experience in the field
Within this rich program, we at Novello & C. will be there to bring the experience gained over decades of production and marketing. In a market that demands increasingly high standards, our presentation will focus on how new varietal selections (such as ARRA seedless grapes) align with our production strategies: pursuing maximum quality, field sustainability, and the enhancement of Sicilian excellence.
Indeed, we firmly believe that only through an open dialogue between scientific research, technical innovation, and the direct experience of those who live in the vineyard every day can we ensure competitiveness and authenticity for the table grape sector.
The event is free and open to all, and it also offers Professional Training Credits (CFP) for registered members of the Orders of Doctors of Agronomy and Doctors of Forestry. At the conclusion of the sessions, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and network during an informal buffet.
