VICTORIA

It’s the first cultivar of the season: white, seeded, with a neutral flavor. It has a large bunch with elliptical-shaped yellow-greenish berries. The peel contains little pruina (the whitish waxy substance), while the pulp is juicy and quite sweet.

Digestible, nutritious and energetic. Victoria grapes have strong antioxidant, detoxifying and diuretic properties. Furthermore, it has good transport resistance.

STORING TECHNIQUES | Recommended storage in the fridge in a breathable closed envelope or perforated plastic container. Wash before consumption with cold water and preferably serve with water and ice.

SPECIAL TERRITORY CHARACTERISTICS | As an early variety, in the south of Sicily the Victoria cultivated in greenhouses can be harvested a few weeks in advance and arrive on the shelves at the end of May. In some areas and with particular production methods it is able to have a bright yellow color.

CHARACTERISTICS SUMMARY | Cultivar not so fragrant, but leaves a very pleasant and persistent taste in the mouth, especially if cold, which invites you to repeat the experience.
